Frequently Asked QuestionsHere are a few questions most folks will have before enrolling their son in a clinic:

How can I be sure my child will be well cared for while attending a clinic?To attain their positions as coaches for their respective schools, Coach O'Brien and Coach Herbert have been fingerprinted and submitted to a background check by the West Hartford Police Department. Coach O'Brien and Coach Herbert are C.P.R. certified and VIRTUS certified. And there will always be at least two first aid kits in the gym at all times. Each clinic will be staffed appropriately to ensure each child is supervised at all times. If a child is injured during the course of a clinic, all safety precautions will be taken. In the event of an emergency, paramedics will be called to the gym, and the designated guardian will be contacted immediately. Will enrollment fees be refunded should my child be unable to participate for the entire clinic?If, for reason of injury, illness, or a family matter a child is removed from a clinic during the first three weeks, fifty percent of the fee will be refunded. If, under the same set of circumstances, a child cannot participate after the third week, no refund will be granted. If a child is removed from the clinic for behavioral issues, or any other non-incidental reason, at any time during a clinic, no refund will be granted. What is the time commitment for the clinic?Each child will be asked to commit two hours per Saturday over the course of six weeks: Clinics will consist of fundamental drills and instructions, plus scrimmage time to allow children to apply to their games what they are learning. Winter/Spring Break sessions will be held Monday-Friday (no Saturday clinics during those weeks) from 9:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. |
